Our Story
Ivey Displays began in the late 1990s., led by the entrepreneurial spirit of Kelly Ivey Prior. Kelly's, enthusiasm for graphic design and fascination by the power of outdoor advertising to captivate and influence the masses led to the launch of Ivey Displays. She noticed early on that the local businesses in her community struggled to gain the visibility they needed to thrive, largely due to the high costs and low flexibility of traditional advertising mediums available at the time.
With a modest loan and a patch of land along one of the busiest highways in Milledgeville, Kelly erected her first billboard, a simple, yet bold statement of her belief in the effectiveness of outdoor advertising. This initial venture was a hand-painted billboard showcasing Popeye's, which quickly became the talk of the town, driving foot traffic to the restaurant and firmly establishing Ivey Displays as a company with potential.
